Painting
During the winter of 1993, Ostenrik traveled from Jakarta to Paris, to participate in a group exhibition in La Boule.As a result of this project, he was able to spend three months participating in a workshop in the Latin Quarter. This series, aptly named Dans Paris, was a direct result of his experience there. The paintings are strongly characterized by the artist use of a variety of layers. Graphic lines, lattices and crosses and graffiti super-imposed to symbolize a metropolis.
